Take on this tough but amazing bike challenge and cycle 237 miles between the iconic capital cities of London and Paris in just 3-days! Age 18+.
Join this exciting 3-day cycle ride from London to Paris and raise funds for charity. The challenge will take us through the rolling English countryside and the vast agricultural landscapes of Northern France to our finish line at the Eiffel Tower, in the heart of the spectacular city of Paris.
There will be a huge amount of fun and friendship along the way as cyclists of all abilities come together to take up this special challenge.
Day One Thurs 1 Sept
London to Caen approx 77 miles
After an early London start to avoid the traffic we are soon cycling through stunning, rolling English countryside of the hilly North Downs. We have lunch near Haslemere before tackling the hilly South Downs. We enjoy dinner at a local hotel in Portsmouth where we can freshen up before boarding the overnight sleeper ferry to Caen.
Day Two Fri 2 Sept
Caen to Evreux approx 85 miles
We have a ferry breakfast before we dock at 7am. We are then back in the saddle for a stunning day of cycling. Leaving Caen behind us we cycle towards Rouen over rolling French hills. We have lunch just north of Liseux and after that we have a fairly flat ride all the way into Evreux where we stay overnight.
Day Three Sat 3 Sept
Evreux to Paris approx 75 miles
Today we cycle through charming, traditional French towns until we reach Septeuil where we have lunch. After lunch we have one last push towards the finish. On reaching Paris we will re-group and cycle up the Champs-Elysee, around the Arc de Triomphe towards our finish line at the Eiffel Tower together. In the evening we enjoy a celebratory dinner together to celebrate our achievement!
Day Four Sun 4 September
Free time in Paris and then return to London
I’m now back in work after a thoroughly enjoyable 3 days cycling from London to Paris. Thank you to everyone at Dream Challenges; you really did a fantastic job and organised everything brilliantly. Roll on the 3 cities bike ride!
