About the club

We are a Birmingham based climbing, hillwalking and mountaineering club with regular meets around the UK and abroad. We are a friendly and sociable club with members ranging in age from early 20s through to 70s, giving us a unique blend of youthful enthusiasm and experience. Activities include scrambling in Snowdonia and the Lake District, rock climbing in North Wales and the Peak District, snow and ice climbing in Glencoe and on Ben Nevis and Munro bagging in the Scottish Highlands. We have also have members who love surfing, mountain biking, windsurfing, canoeing, kayaking, trekking, canyoning, via ferrataing (okay,so I've just invented a new verb), skiing, snowboarding, long distance cycling, marathon running, gear shopping, sleeping and drinking.
