About the club

The Tyne Valley Mountaineers was established over 20 years ago by a group of rock climbers from the Tyne Valley. The club has since evolved, widening it's base and welcoming members from further afield (primarily but not exclusively Northumberland), as well as incorporating other mountain pursuits such as climbing, munroe bagging, hill walking, mountain biking and a range of social activities attached to the above.

The Bridge End Inn
The club meets once a quarter at The Bridge End Inn, Ovingham and the evening may include a slide show or presentation from one of the members.
