Children under 13 can enter but must WALK the course and be accompanied by a paying adult. The main focus of The Big Fun Run is to have fun whilst raising money for the charity or school of your choice. The suggested minimum fundraising target is £50 per person.

The organisers of the Edinburgh marathon bring you The BIG FUN RUN, a 5k fun run for charity. With runs over the country it is a great opportunity to be part of a huge fundraising team of runners coming together to have a great day out, raise funds for a great cause and run, jog or walk and feel the sense of achievment. This amazing 5k Fun Run is suitable for all the family, the route is also wheelchair friendly. The race itself begins at 11am, but the fun starts earlier with “the Big Warm-up”. Everyone goes away with a medal, goodybag and a drink after the race. It’s organized by the same team as the Edinburgh Marathon, so it's sure to be a great day! (205395)
