| The Brathay Windermere Marathon is a fundraising event in support of Brathay Hall Trust – the charity that transforms young people's lives. By entering this event runners make a commitment to raise money in support of our charitable objectives. In doing so you will be helping to improve the wellbeing of thousands of disadvantaged children and young people in the UK. This is one of Europe's most distinctive marathon events. The course is a complete circuit of Windermere (England's largest lake) with exhilarating views of the lake, woodland and surrounding hills. The revival of this popular marathon in 2007 after over 20 years was very well received. See the video of the 2008 event here: http://www.brathay.org.uk (News & Events - Brathay Windermere Marathon) |
