Notes:
Our challenge is a 90 km trek followed by an 8 km section of rafting to the finish line. The journey starts in the town of El Empalme on the Continental Divide and finishes in Oriente with excellent vehicle access throughout the trek. Almost the entire trek is above 1000 meters so the weather is cool and the scenery is spectacular, as we traverse 4x4 tracks through rainforest and cloud forest. The last 8 km of rafting is on a class III section and takes about 1½ hours.

We are in search of 30 challenge seeking adventurers that are looking to spend nine days trekking, camping and white water rafting on our new expedition. If you wish to join this team of intrepid explorers in this challenging yet ecologically rich environment, you will need to raise a minimum of £3,100. Money raised will be used to improve the quality of life for people with muscle disease, and to lead research into treatments and management of neuromuscular conditions. (205395)
