| The online ballot for the 2013 Virgin London Marathon is now closed. If you've already entered the ballot, you'll find out early October whether you've been successful.
One of the best ways of ensuring you have a place in the 2013 marathon is to sign up for a charity place. You can obtain a guaranteed place from a charity in return for committing to raise sponsorship for your chosen charity. The earlier you do this, the more time you have to fundraise - so contact one of these charities asap.
