Day 1 Rio de Janeiro
Arrive at any time.
Days 2-4 Hiking in Juatinga Peninsular Eco-Reserve (3B,2L,3D)
Travel by bus to the trailhead, near Paraty. Two-night hiking excursion through the Eco-Reserve's pristine beaches and tropical rainforest. Overnight in small fishing villages.
Days 5-6 Kayaking Mamanguá Tropical Fjord (2B,2L,1D)
Travel by bus to the kayak entry point at Mamanguá Fjord. Full day to explore the fjord's beaches and mangroves. Hike up to the Mamanguá Sugarloaf peak for spectacular views. Return to Paraty for the night of Day 6.
Days 7-10 Biking Ilha Grande (4B,3L,2D)
Travel by bus and ferry to Ilha Grande. Biking excursion to remote beaches and rainforest trails. Free time for relaxing and individual exploration, take an optional boat tour of the area, or just relax on the beach.
Day 11 Rio de Janeiro (B)
Return by ferry and bus to Rio. Free time to explore the city from our centrally-located hotel in Copacabana or take an optional city tour.
