Day 1 Quito
Arrive at any time.
Days 2-3 Tena/Whitewater Rafting (1B,1L)
Travel by bus into the Amazon Basin at Tena. Included full day whitewater rafting excursion on the Jatunyaku river before returning to Tena for the night.
Day 4 Baños
Travel by bus to Baños. Free afternoon for optional activities like biking or visiting local waterfalls, or explore the town on foot.
Days 5-6 Trekking in Sangay National Park (1B,1L,1D)
Transfer to the start point of the trek and walk into Sangay National Park, home to Tunguragua Volcano. Following a night camping, continue to the volcano's hiker refuge before returning to Baños in the evening. Optional visit to the local hot springs.
Day 7 Baños / Lasso
Free morning in Baños for optional activities like horseback riding, biking or another visit to the hot springs. Travel by bus from Baños to the town of Lasso, near Cotopaxi Volcano.
Day 8 Biking Cotopaxi / Quito (L)
Morning downhill biking excursion on Cotopaxi Volcano. Return to Quito in the evening.
Day 9 Quito (B)
