Pure Peak Grit

Pure Peak Grit (PPG) is a road cycling route linking together virtually every categorised climb in the Peak District National Park, and the ‘Greatest 100 Cycling Climbs’ around it. The ride is 600km long with over 13,500m of ascent. It includes at least 42 fearsome hills with gradients of between 10-25%. The inaugural PPG was undertaken by 10 women in 2019, with 4 successful completions; 2 of them within the 48 hour time challenge.
