The course starts on the road just outside the Pleasureland, passes through the Pleasureland on the route before heading along Marine Drive with views of the seafront and Southport Pier, on returning along the promenade, the race loops back to finish in Princes Park. This is an extremely fast, flat course that boasts real PB potential, whilst being accessible to beginners to run on a flat partially closed road circuit.
