Most of the cars you will see on the roads are Buicks and large American Chevys from before the revolution, and many buildings have remained untouched for over fifty years. You can't help being touched by the wonderful friendliness and pride the Cubans feel for their own country.
Cuba has a strong cycling culture, so we will fit right in. You will ride through rural villages separated by sugar plantations, lovely, colourful orchards, and picturesque tree-lined avenues. You will also see the Che Guevera monument as you cycle through through Santa Clara.
We will pedal through Cienfuegos, in a bay looking over the sparkling Caribbean Sea, which has attracted piratesover the centuries, continuing on to the spectacular Sierra del Escambray before eventually arriving in Trinidad.
You will spend the last evening salsa dancing and dining, then return to Havana.
