Last year was my first half marathon and did it in 4.9.12hrs. I want to smash this time this year and think, knowing I will be raising money for a well deserved cause will spur me on.
I hope to be able to raise at least £1000 for bowel cancer research.

I am 51 years old and have never been an athelete. I walked 99% of the GNR last year as I have fibromialgia and chronic fatigue., but I did it. I was quite ill for a while afterwards, but was elated. I am a very determined and focused individual, and when I set my mind on doing something, I do it however long it takes. I am aiming for between 3.30hrs and 4hrs this year.
