"Hands down the most amazing thing I've ever done. Love a 'challenge' and I've done a fair few but this was definitely the biggest and best." Claire Wallace
"The Threshold motto of 'more is in you' rings true now – the most physically grueling but also rewarding thing I’ve ever been part of" Alex Partridge, Olympic Rower
"The fundraising impact and the life-changes it has promoted are amazing…I and the Deloitte team really appreciate all that was done to make this a landmark event for us, for Threshold, for 600 riders, and for thousands of people who’ve made a difference to great causes through their support, financial and otherwise." Heather Hancock, Managing Partner, Innovation & Brand, Deloitte
"If you're thinking of doing this event stop thinking and just do it." Katie Evans
Day 1: Land's End to Okehampton
The first of many hundreds of miles with fresh legs required for the unrelenting ups and downs of the Westcountry hills.
Day 2: Okehampton to Bath
The highlight of day two is undoubtedly the magnificent climb of Cheddar Gorge before your arrival in the UNESCO world heritage city of Bath.
Day 3: Bath to Ludlow
Today you will cross the immense Severn Bridge and dip into Wales as you pedal through the beautiful Forest of Dean, into Herefordshire and finish with a steady run towards Ludlow.
Day 4: Ludlow to Haydock
If there is an ‘easy day’ then this is it, as day 4 has the least amount of climbing of all the days on the ride.
Day 5: Haydock to Penrith
Day 5 is dominated by the ascent of Shap Fell; the highest point on the whole ride and the signal that the England stages are nearly over.
Day 6: Penrith to Hamilton
It’s time to get North of the border with a quick stop for the obligatory ‘Welcome to Scotland’ photo.
Day 7: Hamilton to Fort William
The Queen stage, the leg buster or just… Day 7. Everything about this stage is big: the distance, the mountains, the smiles at the finish.
Day 8: Fort William to Kyle of Sutherland
Another incredible day of riding through the heart of Scotland with mountains, forests and lochs guiding you to the final basecamp.
Day 9: Kyle of Sutherland to John O'Groats
The final day and the Route Director’s favourite. Everyone should ride the Strathnaver Valley in their lifetime and few will savour it more than you knowing a finisher’s medal awaits.
