British Heart Foundation

Coronary heart disease is the UK's single biggest killer but the BHF is leading the fight against it.

Seven million people of all ages in the UK live with heart and circulatory diseases, which kill one in four people. The British Heart Foundation has already funded lifesaving research, campaigns and ongoing care and support for patients.

Their aim is to fund more than £1bn of cardiovascular research over the next ten years but they need your help. Every £25 could pay for one hour of research by one of their early career scientists or £20 could provide an hour of Helpline support from a Cardiac Nurse.
