Be a Hospice Hero in 2019 and jump out of a perfectly good plane from 10,000ft for the most exhilarating experience of your life! Hit terminal velocity as you fly through the air.
You'd be hard-pushed to find a more thrilling experience than freefalling from 10,000 feet at 120mph! For 2019, Birmingham St Mary's Hospice have teamed up with the professional at Skydive Tilstock so that you can experience a tandem jump with the experts and fly through the skies just like your favourite superhero (come on, we've all got one).
It's a truly unforgettable experience that will stay with you for the rest of your life. Back on land, the money you raise will be used to support vital end of life care service and support for terminally ill patients and their families.
You will be joined by other hospice supporters, however, you may also wish to get a group of friends, workmates or family members along with you to join in the skydive experience or to cheer you along from the ground.
A tandem skydive is the easiest and most popular of all skydives requiring only 30 minutes training before you get to jump strapped to your instructor! The BPA (British Parachute Association) qualified tandem instructor does the hard work for you meaning you can enjoy this truly magical ride!
"That moment when you're just floating through the air - when you feel like you're actually flying - is just incredible" Maria

Birmingham St Mary's Hospice provides personalised support and end of life care to people across Birmingham and Sandwell in the home, local community or at the hospice.
Their vision is where help is available to all individuals, families and carers across the community, wherever and whenever they need it and they plan to extend services to reach over 7,000 individuals by 2020.
Of funds raised £50 could provide someone with care in their own home, £250 could help fund emotional and practical support or £1500 could help a family create memories at their Family Centre.
