The Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge is a 24-mile circular walk that climbs the iconic hills of Pen-y-ghent, Whernside and Ingleborough in one classic route.
The traditional approach is to climb all three hills inside 12 hours but there are many ways to complete the challenge - such as walking each peak individually over three days or taking part in an organised charity event.
