St Mungo's are delighted to be able to offer the opportunity to abseil down one of London’s most iconic buildings. An imposing, Art Deco structure built in 1937, Senate House housed the Ministry of Information during World War II and inspired George Orwell's description of the Ministry of Truth in his novel Nineteen Eighty-Four.
No prior experience is necessary to take part; you receive all your training and abseiling kit on the day. We have 2 lines, so you and a friend can go over the top together and we have photographers on hand to capture your descent. Do invite your friends and family to cheer you on and capture the moment you land firmly back on the ground!
Join the St Mungo's home team in June and take on this abseil challenge in the heart of London, sign up today!
