Burma is a gorgeous country of jungles, mountains and fertile plains, with pretty pagodas dotted across the diverse landscapes. Cycling is the best way to discover the kind and friendly culture of this land nearly untouched by tourism.
From Mandalay we cycle to Bagan’s ancient temples, before biking east through dry lowlands, passing teak plantations and rice paddy fields. Soon we ride up into the cooler jungle-clad hills. An exhilarating descent takes us to the beautiful shores of Lake Inle, where we have time to relax and see the local way of life.
