The D-Day 44 Challenge offers two fantastic route options; 22 miles or 44 miles, both of which take you on a memorable journey following forgotten paths, rocky outcrops and beautiful Norman villages.
For over 100 years, Blind Veterans UK has been offering physical and emotional support to veterans with vision impairements, and your fundraising will help ensure those overcoming the challenges of blindness continue to get the support they need.
"The event was brilliantly organised and the support for runners outstanding. I have run marathons all over the world-this was the most enjoyable"
Please note that if you self-fund you will still be required to raise some sponsorship.
We believe every blind veteran should be able to lead the life they choose.
By offering in-depth expertise, a range of services and our years of experience, we support those who've served in the Armed Forces or has completed National Service, and those who are now living with significant sight loss.
We are proud to have been offering physical and emotional support to veterans with vision impairment since 1915, and we continue to help those adjusting to the loss of sight and overcome the challenges of blindness.
