You'll spend five days with a Berber family, sharing in their Nomadic lifestyle as they make their bi-annual migration to the Dades Valley.
By day you'll trek through remarkable mountain terrain with steep passes overlooking picturesque valleys and remote Berber homesteads. By night, enjoy delicious traditional Moroccan cuisine and sleep under a star-filled sky.
As part of your journey, you'll get the chance to explore the beautiful city of Marrakech and visit the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Aït Benhaddou, famous as a filming location for films such as Lawrence of Arabia, Jesus of Nazareth, Jewel of the Nile and Gladiator.

Day 1: Marrakech
On arrival in Marrakech, you will have free time to explore the souks and visit the world famous Djemaa el Fna in the city’s main square with its snake charmers, storytellers, musicians, henna artists and fabulous food stalls.
Day 2: Marrakech – Cascades D’Ouzoud
Our adventure begins as we travel to the impressive waterfalls of Ouzoud, where you can hike one of the trails or take a dip in the pools. We'll then meet the Berber family we will be travelling with on their twice a year migration from the High Atlas Mountains to the Dades Valley.
Days 3- 7: Berber Migration
We embark on our incredible journey with our Berber family and their livestock through the spectacular Atlas Mountains. Every migration is unique, so there's no rigid itinerary for the next few days. By day we trek through stunning terrain with steep passes overlooking picturesque valleys and remote Berber homesteads. At night we enjoy delicious traditional Moroccan food and unwind under the starry skies before settling down for the night. Each day sees us descend closer towards the Dades Valley until we reach the beautiful Dades Gorge.
Day 8: Ait Benhaddou
We'll say goodbye to our Berber companions before continuing to Ait Benhaddou, a well preserved, fortified city on the former Saharan Caravan route which is now a UNESCO World Heritage site.
Day 9: Return to Marrakech
We'll travel by road over the High Atlas crossing before arriving back in Marrakech where we have a free afternoon to enjoy the sights, sounds and smells of this wonderful city. Saunter through the winding streets of the ancient medina and its palaces & tombs. Enjoy a traditional hammam, steam bath and invigorating exfoliation & massage before celebrating your achievements with your travelling companions.
Day 10: Return to the UK
