One of the many benefits of running is that you can go out entirely on your own initiative for free, but there are good reasons for running with others including; company and social, security, being part of a community, discounted entry in races/shops, introduction to new routes, tips for improving your training/racing, plus many running clubs are allocated places in sell-out events such as the London Marathon.
Two easy ways to find a club:
A friendly running club which caters for all levels and runs popular six-week beginner courses. Club nights are Tuesdays.
