Fireworks 500

Starting on the rocket, swimmers can race or leisurely complete one lap (500m) of the quarry. It’s long enough for you to experience the beauty of night swimming in safe secure surroundings but short enough that you get to the end before the chill sets in! We do have glow sticks for each swimmer but would prefer no to use them as we appreciate they aren’t very environmentally friendly. We’re asking swimmers to bring a tow float; a much more environmentally friendly way to be seen. Following the swim, you can warm up with a hot chocolate and then enjoy the fireworks display.
