After all the long training runs, kit testing, nutrition plans and preparation, you’re finally ready to take on the classic 26.2-mile race. With 100’s of marathons taking place in the UK throughout the year, deciding on which event to enter can be daunting.
If you’re based up north, the Greater Manchester Marathon or beautiful Edinburgh Marathon may be the events for you. Down south, both the Brighton Marathon or Richmond Running Festival could be more suited to you.
