Race to the Stones, 13-14 July
Race to the Stones is a fully-supported ultra trail marathon along The Ridgeway, England's oldest path. Vikings, Romans, dragons & Kings have walked The Ridgeway for over 5,000 years. Now it's your turn.
This is a challenge for everyone - choose to camp over the weekend or take on the full 100km challenge in one go!
Unlike some self-sufficient ultra marathons, everything is taken care of, from bag transfers to hot meals.
Royal Parks Half going plastic bottle free by 2020
The Royal Parks make up over 5,000 acres of green space in the heart of London and are used by more than 70 million people a year. Every Autumn, four of the parks host the City's largest half marathon taking in world-famous landmarks together with Hyde Park, The Green Park, St James’s Park and Kensington Gardens.
By 2020, the organisers have committed to going plastic bottle free on the entire course and this year there will be no plastic water bottles on the route (just at the finish line). Read more about this iconic route through the Royal Parks.
