Super sprint triathlons are a great introduction into the world of triathlons and bridge the gap between novice and sprint triathlons.
The distances vary but will be something between 250-400m of swimming, a 5-20km bike ride and then a 1.5-5km run. They're usually open to age 15 and upwards.
