ITU Sprint Distance World Championship qualifier! Thrilling sea swim, challenging ride on closed roads with glorious vista over the North Wales Coast, run along the Victorian Promenade to Penrhyn Bay & coastal finish.
This event gives you a choice of 3 distances to choose from: Sprint, Standard and Middle (new for 2017).
All offer an invigorating tried and tested course including a thrilling sea swim, a challenging cycle section on closed roads around the Great Orme with its glorious vista over the North Wales Coast and a run along the Victorian Promenade and then over the Little Orme to Penrhyn Bay. Turn around, then run back over the Little Orme and along the promenade with a sea breeze to cool you to the rapturous finishline!
NEW for 2017! Middle distance option consisting of a 1900m sea swim, an 87km cycle starting with 1 lap of the Great Orme and continuing around the Conwy hills before finishing with a 20km run along the coast. This will be a truly great middle distance event.
Also a Standard distance: 1500m swim, 36km cycle and 10km run.
Spectators are welcome and there will be plenty of action, refreshments and stalls to keep friends and family happy!
There are 2 ways to get a place in Llandudno Sea Triathlon Sprint.
Limited charity places are available - the charity guarantees you a place in the event in return for you raising sponsorship.
Specialist tour operators run trips to the event - they guarantee you a place and organise your travel and accommodation.
Limited ballot places are available in the event - your name is put in a 'hat' and places are drawn out randomly. Good luck!
Places are available direct from the event organiser - just pay your entry fee and you're in!
