Galahad Clark says barefoot running shoes provide the best of both worlds - protection combined with sensory feedback and allowing feet to retain their natural shape, strength and range of motion.
Galahad is a seventh generation shoemaker. As a teenager, he spent summer holidays learning the family’s trade and then after university he had a period In New York making ‘Wu Shoes’ with hip hop trailblazers Wu-Tang Clan.
In 2003, Galahad took over the eco shoe company Terra Plana and says: "I learned that sustainable design is just good design - products that allow humans and life to flourish on earth." This led him to realise that Vivobarefoot is what he believed in above all else.
He launched Vivobarefoot as a standalone brand in 2012 and his focus since has been on inspiring healthy natural movement and changing the world, one pair of feet at a time.
