My goal is to run 2016 miles in 2016.
I am running the Rome marathon on the 10th April. At first I was not going to fundraise but having trained so hard after coming back from injury I thought if a charity can benefit from my blood, sweat & blisters it will make the pain more of a worthwhile gain. I have chosen Make A Wish Foundation as I feel every penny goes to a great cause, making memories for some very brave children. As an added bonus if I reach my target of £250 I will shave off my beard. Was hoping for a full hairy year ;-)
I've beat my fundraising target and have shaved my beard off
1,187.2mi so far this year. So as long as I run 165.76 miles per month for the next 5 months I'm going to do it
Will last minute Christmas cramming be needed? How can I beat this achievement in 2017?!

Used to be unfit and nearly 20 stone. I took up taekwondo and running 3 years ago, now I have done more than 10 10ks, more than 10 half marathons and 6 full marathons also lost 6 stone on the journey. Helped fund a PAD in our local park and raised money for Make a Wish Foundation & Stay Telford too.
