My goal is to test myself mentally and physically in preparations for further similar activities. Every year I raise money for different charities and this years chosen charity is Barnardo's Children's Charity.
Going to blow my fundraising target out of the water. Now for the next £100.

Research the types of challenges I might face on this survival race.
Practice survival skills researched.
Endurance training 5-10km.
Mental Training - long runs with mental challenges to complete.
Race day involves running 10k and making my way through 35+ natural and purpose-built obstacles. I'll also be tested in 4 unique BG Survival Challenges. The Survival Zones replicate real-world survival situations which you would encounter in the wild. I am going to need the knowledge and skills to make it through some of the most dangerous environments and terrains out there.
I'll be mainly raising funds online via Justgiving and social media but any funds raised offline need to be submitted to Barnardo's by this date.

I am a SSgt in the British Army and I have served for 15 years so far. Every year I choose a charity to support and a challenge to raise money for that charity. This years challenge is my first survival race and I am looking forward to testing myself and raising money for a great cause.
