This cause is on my mind at the moment as my lovely Great Uncle was diagnosed with Parkinson's recently. This challenge ride is the first of many bike events for me (hopefully), having hung up my running shoes post-baby. I'm excited to be trying something new but this 62-mile challenge is taking me way out of my comfort zone.

I've been living & breathing charity challenges since I joined the timeoutdoors team in 2002 & have taken part in loads of charity running events & fell-runs. I'm really keen to try different types of challenges, starting with cycling.
