I love cycling but for fun, distance has never been my thing. I've been to Eroica for the past two years and promised myself I would take part, next year is the year. The options are 30, 50 or 100 miles on a vintage bike, I'm not limiting my options by setting a target yet.
My second goal is to complete the couch to 5K - I haven't run since cross country at school (yonks ago) and over the years I've told myself I wasn't built to run. Well, I want to prove myself wrong. I also want to complete a Parkrun.

Use these for key training updates, not day-to-day stuff (apps covers these). It might be a training target you've set, a particularly good training session or something else relevant to your training remine.
If raising funds is part of your goal, use updates to help you. Add the deadline to pay your fundraising as an update so you don't forget. If you have a cake sale that raises money, add an update and photo to show people how you did!

I am a 43 year old mum of two small boys, I'd forgotten how much I enjoy sport.
