I've planned my first 5K for April. I have started running as a way of losing weight and am following a couch to 5k plan.
I've joined a women's running club and am aiming to complete the 8 week beginners session.
My first 5K will be on a Sunday afternoon in the lovely surroundings of Alexandra Park in Manchester. It's a women-only series and the route is 3 laps on paths around the park.
I'm a 46 year old mum with one daughter.
