Whether you are a complete beginner or seasoned Ironman athlete, Devon offers endless possibilities for triathlon and open water swimming.
Located in South Devon on the picturesque Lyme Bay, Teignmouth is an ideal base - the heated open air pool on the sea front and the calm, blue waters of Lyme Bay are both ideal.
It's located at the foot of Dartmoor National Park, offering fantastic cycling opportunities, featuring some of the toughest climbs which are often used in the Tour of Britain.
There are also some unique running opportunities along Teignmouth’s sea wall, in the National Park and on a grass running track.

Best times to go:
Devon has lots going for it all year around.
In the winter it is far quieter and a nice place to spend Christmas and New Year.
But it's in the summer - between April and October - when it really comes into its own for outdoor activities, when the sea is warm and the sun is out.
