Totally raw running and swimming in the wild open country. The River Thames sets the scene for the swimming sections, starting at Eynsham Lock. The running sections are woodland tracks, cross-country style, set in the semi-ancient Oxford University woodlands of Wytham. The event meanders through woodlands and open pastures; there is a short spell on tarmac. This event is set in private landscapes with no public access, or public roads.
