The iconic Morecambe Bay Sands is a unique stretch of sand and sea that stretches a whopping 10 miles along the Lancashire coast. The bay is home to a vast array of bird and marine life, and is a favourite spot for walkers, bird watchers, and beach-goers alike. The group will be taking in the stunning views of the bay, the wildlife, and the ever-changing landscape of this beautiful part of the country. The walk is suitable for all ages and abilities and will be led by experienced guides who will ensure your safety at all times.
Begin in the quaint village of Sandgate Country Park, and be led across to the iconic Chapel Island by Guide to the Sands, Raymond Porter. This walk will be approx. 5 miles in total and the group will walk out to the island and back again.
