Overview

Following the success of last year's challenge walk, the charity is very excited to offer this new Shakespeare's Way Walk that will challenge and test your endurance.

You will set out on a journey along part of Shakespeare's Way, through picturesque villages, rolling countryside and finally finishing your challenge by the River Avon opposite the historic Shakespeare Theatre.

This is a sponsored walk with a difference bringing together people of all ages and abilities. It’s not all about the challenge but also to promote the benefits of walking for well-being and good mental health. Walking and physical activity can help reduce the risk of cognitive decline and dementia in older people in particular. This 26 mile walk (13 miles also available) is the perfect way for people to join together on a memorable journey whilst supporting The Shakespeare Hospice.
