farm fields, steep ascents and descents, as well as a final road sprint to the finish. Hill shoes are however advised!! The fun run initially follows the main race route (with alternative start to avoid the burn crossing if burn is in spate), with the turn-around point just before the main climb starts (ca. 2.3km, 50 metres). The race starts in front of Broughton Ales Brewery. You’re welcome to run in fancy dress!
