You'll enjoy a bespoke medal and lots of goodies at the finish line.

This event is part of the It's Grim Up North calendar of runs, offering a range of distances and levels of difficulty so there is something for everyone.
Famous for its low-key approach, all runners will be greeted with a warm smile and friendly chat.
The aim is to get you out running, help you enjoy the beautiful countryside with great camaraderie and for you to experience the sense of well-being you get when you cross that finish line.
You'll be shown that the North is anything but Grim.

A good race this is, enjoy you will.
Starting and finishing in Aireville Park set in the beautiful dales market town of Skipton and running on this flat route along the Leeds and Liverpool Canal, you won't have to use the force too much to “en-jedi” this event (sorry!). With distances ranging from 5K to marathon, all along the flat, even towpath, this event is perfect for runners of all abilities, from novices to Ultra PB chasers.

Had a great time. Cakes and chocolate at the end. Mark J
The scenery along this route was beautiful, and the flat canal path made for a great first marathon route. The medal was amazing, as were the goodies at the finish line. Milly M

Beautiful run next to the canal, will definitely do again. Samantha S
Great race. As a slower runners i got a huge cheer over the line which was really lovely. Really friendly marshalls and a huge table full of treats at the end.Fantastic medal, lovely company to deal with. Lindsey H
Nice friendly race, inaccurate half marathon course. Half marathon was almost half a mile too long which is wildly out and a shame as it makes a big difference when going for a ‘time’.Otherwise, a nice small, friendly, scenic race. Matthew C
Really enjoyable and well organised. Stephen S
