Before you reach the finish there will be a sting in the trail, Othnesbery will have its revenge. Before you reach the finish there will be a sting in the trail . The route will take you through forest tracks over heather-clad moorland, which in August should be a stunning purple colour, and up one of the most recognisable hills in the country, on early mapping, it was even classed as a mountain... Othnesbery, more usually known as Roseberry Topping has been linked to Odin chief of the Norse Gods, it would have been well known to the Vikings who lived throughout the area during the time of the Danelaw. Can you dig deep and conquer Othnesbery’s Revenge where a sting in the trail will await you at Odins Seat?
All finishers will receive a double sided medal and a certificate.
The route will have some flagging and marshalls to point you in the right direction. There will be a GPX sent out before the event. There will be refreshments/ water etc at around half way and at the finish. £17 entry is via Si Entries
Dogs allowed but must be kept on a lead, owners to have pet liability insurance, and will start to the rear of the main group.
Low key friendly event, maximum of 50 entrants.
