with the proceeds going to local deserving causes. For the past 30 years, on a Sunday in May, the people of Staines and the surrounding area have come together for a ten kilometre road race. Some do it to challenge themselves, some do it to raise vital funds for their chosen charity. Whatever the reason, a great atmosphere is produced by the runners and spectators alike. The perfect recipe - run a race - generate funds. We are proud that just in the past 10 years we have donated over £80,000 to local causes. The course is flat, making it ideal for the experienced club runner to post that magical personal best. The fastest posted time is under 30 minutes! The event is also perfect for the beginner.
