As we follow in the footsteps of the many brave women whose defiant actions changed the course of history forever, we’ll explore: Early activists for women’s suffrage, including visits to the homes of Millicent Fawcett and Elizabeth Garrett Anderson. The explosive activism of the WSPU (Women’s Social and Political Union) - we’ll be running to the places that were key to the movement and the sites of some of the biggest protests and demonstrations. Police brutality and the response from Westminster - visiting the sites of arrests, incarcerations, and the places of key moments in achieving women’s suffrage.
