Event overview
If you like beautiful races in beautiful places, like fun, like medals and like goodies then this event is for you.
You'll enjoy a bespoke medal and treats at the finish line!

This event is part of the It's Grim Up North calendar of runs, offering a range of distances and levels of difficulty so there is something for everyone.
Famous for its low-key approach, all runners will be greeted with a warm smile and friendly chat.
The aim is to get you out running, help you enjoy the beautiful countryside with great camaraderie and for you to experience the sense of well-being you get when you cross that finish line.
You'll be shown that the North is anything but Grim.
Runners will be able to choose the distance that suits them best.
The course is a 6.6-mile loop, meaning runners are never far from the base and will feel well-supported.
The route is undulating in places but will be manageable for both beginners as well as experienced runners. This looped route will be well-marshalled and signposted throughout.
When you complete your race, everyone is encouraged to stay around and have a chat with friends and enjoy the post-race feast.
This event is part of Tulips at Tempsey.

Lovely trail event. Really enjoyed this race, good scenery, friendly, well marshalled or signed, loads of cakes and drinks at the end and good bling. Good parking and toilet facilities here too. Rebekah N
First time, great run. Mike H
Loved it. A safe environment to push yourself. Super friendly and there’s a medal (bonus). Cassandra F
Well organised. The choice of venue, including the parking. Great atmosphere and the choice of cakes (for me gluten-free) was excellent. The choice of drinks and snacks was equally good. It was hillier than I expected, but I enjoyed it very much. Thank you. Katherine W
A tough, maybe even GRIM course. This course has a good mix of trail, flat and hill. Everyone was very supportive and friendly. David Van K
Good local race. Nice route. Friendly team. Decent selection of cake - do miss the cake kebabs tho! Laura C
