The full 3-day route starts near Padstow and finishes at the iconic Lands End. Complete up to 78.6 miles (3 marathons) over 3 days by walking, running or crawling - putting your mental and physical prowess against some of the wildest coastlines in Britain.
Dare to complete 1, 2 or 3 days. Every Atlantic Coast Challenge starter receives an event t-shirt and every finisher receives a classic challenge medal and Cornish Pasty! Monday morning proof to your work colleagues or family that you completed this tough challenge.
This classic event is a personal challenge to test your limits and provide you with an immense sense of achievement - it's not a race.
This event is part of Atlantic Coast Challenge.
Runners, joggers and walkers all take on the challenge and start at different times each day.
Group 1 is for walkers and slower joggers only.
Group 2 is for runners and faster runners. No walkers in group 2.
Group 3 on day 2 and 3 is for faster runners.

Free parking is available at the event HQ.
The Event HQ is at St Ives Bay Holiday Park.
This will act as a meeting point, catering area, massage, first aid point and reception. This will be open throughout the whole event to answer any questions, sell event merchandise or for running advice.
Transport to and from the event HQ to the start/finish each day is included in your entry fee. This means you could easily book the same accommodation for the duration of your challenge.
St Ives Bay Holiday Park provides the perfect accommodation solution for entrants to the ACC. current year prices to be confirmed.

The course follows the South West Coast Path.
The terrain is wild and rugged with steep climbs and descents that test your concentration as well as your physical strength. Each day is unique with its own individual challenges and famous landmarks to add to the experience.
Keep the sea on your right and the land on your left and you won't go far wrong!
You will follow the coastal footpath which is well signposted. You don't need to be an experienced navigator.
The route follows the South West Coastal Path (SWCP). The path is marked on signs by an acorn symbol and is a well defined track for the majority of the way. The SWCP is a public right of way.
Well-stocked and every 10km.
All the CPs will be stocked with energy bars, jelly babies, salty snacks, filled rolls, water, squash, flat coke and hot drinks (CPs 2 and 3).
At the finish point each day a bowl of deliciously hot homemade soup with bread roll awaits.
At each checkpoint you will be welcomed and βchecked in' by the staff for safety and your time logged. Your position on the course is known so if you're late you can be assisted.
The course is covered by a medical support team. Every morning at challenge registration the medics will be available to sort out any blisters, tape feet up etc. They'll also be available at the checkpoints too.
Each day you will be instructed to meet at the event HQ and then be transported to the start. Once you join the team on the event you can leave your car at the event HQ and take advantage of the event minibuses. On completion of the days run you will be transported back to the event HQ - easy!
