Event overview
If you like beautiful races in beautiful places, like fun, like medals and like goodies then this event is for you.
You'll enjoy a bespoke medal and lots of goodies at the finish line.

This event is part of the It's Grim Up North calendar of runs, offering a range of distances and levels of difficulty so there is something for everyone.
Famous for its low-key approach, all runners will be greeted with a warm smile and friendly chat.
The aim is to get you out running, help you enjoy the beautiful countryside with great camaraderie and for you to experience the sense of well-being you get when you cross that finish line.
You'll be shown that the North is anything but Grim.
Out on the wily, windy moors, weβll run a beautiful race (or something like that).
Starting and finishing in the historic town of Haworth (home of the Brontes), the race heads out over well-used trails following a 5-mile loop.
You will get to see Bronte Bridge and the Parsonage as well as follow a bit of the Pennine Way. Itβs a beautiful, if not a bit challenging, route.

Another awesome Grim event. Friendly, chilled but efficiently organised as usual. Really good course with a good amount of fast and tech bits, beer and cake on the finish line. What more do you want?! Dave M
A breathtaking course in more ways than one. Challenging route with stunning views - I crossed the finish line thinking 'never again' then 5 minutes later vowed to be back next year to try the 10 mile race. Fantastic Grim welcome, organisation, goody bag and homemade cake as always. Juliet C
Great to be back out with Grim. First time at this event, tough hills with stunning views. Definitely will be back! Harvey S
A truly rewarding event. Every climb presents you with a fresh, beautiful vista. Well organised and very friendly, you will be sure of a warm welcome. Great medals and fabulous cake. Highly recommended. Jonathan G

Very well organised, everyone really friendly. Jac L
Brutal with a beautiful course. Another excellent event organised by the GRIM team. Supportive and so understanding of what runners go through.. Before, during and after. This has to be one of the best events I've done for the scenery was breathtaking.. Let alone historic.. And we won't mention hills... π Clair W
Stunning course, the views are well worth the climbs. Great organisation, relaxed and supportive atmosphere and a fab goody bag. Sarah B
My first time taking on the wuthering heights wander with grim up north, I ran the 15 mile race, I was looking for a good testing trail run to take on and this didn't disappoint, the route had everything you would expect from a trail run, technical sections to navigate, up and down hill accents and decents. The grim team are such a friendly bunch that do there best to make sure you have the best experience possible. All been well I'll be back next year to take on a longer distance. Gary B
