Sportives in the UK

Sportives are mass-participation road cycling events over distances of 20 to 200+ miles usually over a single day. Events are typically well sign-posted with feeding stations and mechanical support along the route and so are popular with all levels of cyclists looking for a ride out in an organised event. Short distance rides are generally up to about 40 miles, medium distance are up to around 70 miles and long distance are anything above 70 miles.
