This epic event starts and finishes in Llanberis, Wales’ outdoor capital, and offers Trail Marathon, Ultra Marathon, Half Marathon, 10K and 24-hour options.

The route explores rugged mountain trails, soaring panoramic views and relentless climbs — everything that makes Snowdonia legendary among outdoor enthusiasts. You’ll run through iconic locations including Rhyd Ddu, Beddgelert, Nant Gwynant, Pen y Pass and the slopes of Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon), creating what many consider one of the UK’s most striking trail marathon routes.

You are permitted to carry and use walking poles if you wish to.
Families
The event village is family-friendly and is at a location with lots on offer for families. There'll be a great atmosphere for spectators who can track the person they are supporting using an app so they don't miss them at key points.

Registration
Registration is located on the event field in Llanberis situated next to the Community Centre - LL55 4UR.

Parking
Parking information is included in your Final Instructions email. Please be considerate to local residents when parking and use official event parking or pay and display car parks.
By car
There’s quick, straightforward access from the North West along the M56 and A55. Motorway links with the Midlands are good too, and the same roads – the M6, M5 and M1 – also bring Snowdonia within easy reach of the South of England
By rail
Direct services (including direct trains from London to Bangor) take you to the popular North Wales coastal destinations from most parts of Britain.
The closest station to Llanberis is Bangor, which is just under 10 miles away. A taxi from here will cost approximately £25. The Sherpa S2 bus will take you from the station and cost between £3-£5. It is possible to cycle.
By sea
Irish Ferries and Stena Line operate regular and high-speed services to Holyhead from Dublin.
By air
Transfers from the international gateways of Manchester, Liverpool and Birmingham take less than two hours.
Accommodation
Llanberis and the surrounding areas offer a wide range of hotels, bed and breakfast, campsites and hostels.
The Royal Victoria Hotel is recommended.

As a local Welsh company the organiser's goal is to showcase the beautiful natural environment without causing harm. Event since their first race in 2011, they have avoided plastic bottles, offered locally-sourced Welsh slate finisher mementoes and have lead on sustainability in events.
