Capernwray Open Water Swims | 1500M

The water is clean and clear, the wildlife is friendly (there’s a 6ft long black Sturgeon in there somewhere that might come to say hello!) and many of the underwater features for the divers are visible as you swim round. So there’s plenty to keep you occupied! Choose which distance to swim or why not build up from 500m to 1500m over the 3 events! Or have a go at the Ironman swim distance 3800m. The centre has toilet, changing and shower facilities. The Porthole cafe also serves hot drinks and the popular post swim chips!
