The Castlewellan Night Race has become favorite in the night running race calendar spanning over a decade since we first put the event on.

The event comprises of a charity walk and 5km & 10km run taking in 2 laps of the beautiful Castlewellan lake and surrounding woodland. The trail has a mix of everything from tarmac, single track, fire road, gravel and mud and if you’re really lucky a dusting of New Year snow.
