Who is it for?

Whether you’re a fierce solo runner ready to challenge your limits with the goal of conquering 100 miles, a dynamic duo eager for shared victories, or part of a spirited team of up to 12 competitors, this event is designed to ignite your passion and elevate your spirit. Conquer24 offers a platform not just for competition, but for camaraderie, personal growth, and the thrill of adventure.

There is a kids fun run on Saturday morning for children of Conquer24 participants.

How Conquer24 works

Both solo runners and teams have a full 24 hours to run as many laps as they can. Whether you’re racing against the clock or strategizing with your teammates, it’s about making the most of every moment—and maybe even making history!

Laps and breaks

You can take a break anytime you like but always leave/enter the course at the correct point. You can carry on and do more than one lap or handover to your partner or team member. Only one member of a team must be on the course at any time. Team and solo runners do not have to be on the route for the whole 24 hours. You can take a break and resume the race when you are ready.

Description

The course is a multi-terrain route that showcases the stunning estate. It begins with a relatively flat section through grassy fields, transitioning to a brief section of track and a small stretch of tarmac.

Runners will then navigate beautiful woodland trails, culminating in the greatest challenge near the halfway pointβ€”a 300-meter climb to the Belvedere tower and aid station.

This ascent is rewarded with breathtaking views over the River Ex, as well as refreshments such as chocolate brownies and peanut butter and jam sandwiches.

Following this, runners will descend through the majestic deer park, where there is a chance to observe these beautiful animals in their natural habitat.

The route concludes with a passage through the historic castle and a flat home stretch. Overall, the course offers an adventure through the rich history and natural beauty of Powderham.
